1. Overview
TK-FTEB01 is a dedicated FTE bridge module for Honeywell Experion PKS DCS FTE fault-tolerant Ethernet architecture, installed in C300 control cabinet backplane slot. It acts as a gateway bridge connecting cabinet internal FTE equipment (C300 controllers, I/O communication modules, CC-PCF901 firewalls) to the factory main FTE backbone switch. It adopts dual independent A/B FTE channel design to implement seamless redundant network switching with millisecond-level failover, eliminating single point of network failure. Built-in broadcast storm suppression logic prevents local cabinet broadcast flooding from spreading to the whole plant FTE network. It matches standard Series C rack, supports hot-swap maintenance, G3 conformal coating, and works with FTE switches, CF9 firewalls and redundant C300 controller systems, widely used in power, petrochemical, oil & gas and pharmaceutical critical DCS control network architecture.
